In 2023 ACS:

• Touched the lives of 3.2 million Californians through patient support programs.
• Invested $42.8 million in California for cancer research funding 79 local grants.
• Provided lodging assistance to 12,353 Californians to be closer to their cancer treatments.
• Gave 43 transportation grants totaling $570,000 to partnering organizations to ensure their patients have rides to treatment.
• Provided information and support 33,735 times to Californians through our National Cancer Information Center at (800) 227-2345 and online chats at cancer.org.
