Join us for a discussion with Sarah Mahin, Director of LA County’s new Department of Homeless Services and Housing (HSH) on Tuesday, June 2 from 12pm-1pm on Zoom.
How do HSH and LAHSA work together to impact the County’s efforts to build a more transparent, accountable, and coordinated system? What opportunities are there for the private sector to partner with HSH on thoughtful, responsible strategies to address homelessness?
Sarah Mahin serves as the inaugural Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Homeless Services and Housing (HSH), a newly created department launched in 2026 to consolidate, strengthen and accelerate the County's response to homelessness. With over 20 years of experience, she held key roles with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, and most recently served as Director of the Department of Health Services’ Housing for Health division.
