Special Guest Speaker: Nathan Hochman, a former federal prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney General, President of the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission and defense attorney, is a candidate for District Attorney of Los Angeles County, running against George Gascon in November. He is an Independent (No Party Preference) candidate who believes politics has no place in the D.A.’s Office. Mr. Hochman has vowed to restore public safety in Los Angeles County by implementing sound prosecution policy based on the facts and the law – not an extreme political ideology. He is endorsed by the Association of Deputy District Attorneys, former three-term D.A. Steve Cooley, former D.A. candidates John McKinney and Maria Ramirez; two children of the late U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy – Rory and Max Kennedy; and five former U.S. Attorneys for the Central District of California. Mr. Hochman earned his bachelor’s degree from Brown University (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) and his Juris Doctor degree with distinction from Stanford Law School.
